Launched in 2014 in Southeast Idaho, Kinnetech Enterprises provides high-level electrical and systems engineering expertise to help bring complex products from concept to reality.
Our work spans the full development process—from early planning, feasibility, and architecture through engineering design, reverse engineering, design review, testing, and refinement. We are often brought in when a project demands more than execution alone: when difficult problems need to be understood, assumptions challenged, risks uncovered, or a better path forward discovered.
Built on decades of hands-on product development experience and a deep understanding of fundamental engineering principles, Kinnetech approaches each project with technical depth, practical insight, and a relentless focus on the problem itself. Jonathan Jensen
Founder & CEO
Jonathan Jensen, P.E. is an Idaho-licensed electrical and electronics engineer with decades of experience spanning integrated circuit design, product development, and engineering leadership.
After earning a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Jensen specialized in application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design and led engineering teams developing advanced electronic solutions. His experience extends from low-power analog IC design to the hardware, firmware, and system development of diverse products—including security systems, high-power LED lighting, motor controls, home safety products, solar power systems, gaming, and entertainment products.
Driven by a passion for solving difficult engineering problems, Mr. Jensen has contributed to more than 12 patents and patent applications. He founded Kinnetech Enterprises to bring this breadth of technical expertise, hands-on product development experience, and innovative problem-solving to clients seeking sophisticated, practical engineering solutions.
